Hiking

There is world class hiking within minutes of Snurley Ridge. The Bartram trail runs right next to our neighborhood and intersects the Appalachian Trail at Wayah Bald (7 miles by trail, 12 miles by car). There are trail maps for both the Bartram and Appalachian trails as well as several other hiking references at the house. For an easy, kid-friendly hike, there is a short trail that runs down the back of our property with plenty to see for kids of all ages!
